Ayatollah Jannati condemns massacre of Bahraini people by Saudi troops
The Tehran interim Friday Prayer Leader, Ayatollah Ahmad Jannati, has strongly condemned the massacre of innocent and defenseless Bahraini people by the Saudi troops.

According to IRIB, he pointed out that Saudi Arabia, which has not made any effort to support the oppressed Palestinian nation, has currently deployed forces to Bahrain for suppression of Bahraini Muslim people.
Referring to mischief of the Manama administration, and murder and persecution of Bahraini people only for being Shiites, Ayatollah Jannati underlined that the oppressed Islamic nations have staged an uprising, and the Islamic awakening; the phenomenon which the enemies were scared of for years, emerged.

The Tehran interim Friday Prayer leader pointed out that the foes are making strenuous efforts to cause sectarian, racial, and political rifts and have aimed to sabotage the unity of Muslims, while the Islamic nations should be vigilant and alert and should maintain and reinforce their unity and solidarity.
In further remarks, Ayatollah Jannati lauded Iran's Foreign Ministry's letter to UN secretary general and chairman of UN Security Council about the massacre of Bahraini people.

Furthermore, Ayatollah Jannati referred to naming of the current solar year 1390 (March 2011-2012) as the Year of Economic Jihad, while noting that the state organizations and media should further coordinate with each other and should make further efforts to shape a multilateral movement toward maintenance of the country's economic growth.- IRIB
